Route Description:
This is an Intermediate/advanced ride which is not suitable to beginner gravel riders. (We say this mostly because of the distance and for the fact that we won’t have specific pace leaders or sweeps. There are some tough climbs and a few trails with sand and washed out sections to navigate.)

You're in for a treat! The route is our Castlewood Canyon Groad which you can read for further details.

Other notes:
* There is little shade, and lots of sun exposure for most of this ride. Bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
* There are very few places for replenishing water and food. There is a convenience store/gas station at mile 25, where we can stop and top off water, otherwise plan to pack what you will need.
* There is a 3.5 mile section between Greenland and Larkspur on the Colorado Front Range Trail. It is a bit sandy and washed out in places due to recent rain. It is navigable if you take your time and choose your line.
* Expect some washboarded roads especially approaching Castlewood Canyon Park on Castlewood Canyon Road.

All genders are welcome.
The ride is NOT no-drop, rather, come prepared with the route loaded on your bike computer or phone.
There won’t be specific pace group ride leaders or sweeps, but bikers will be able to ride with similarly paced cyclists.
While this is a group ride, you are 100% responsible for yourself. Please bring enough hydration and fuel for the ride as well as anything else you might require. Make sure your bike is in good working order and you have the supplies to fix a mechanical issue or flat. Helmets required. 32mm width (or wider) and tubeless tires strongly recommended.
